HOME ORGANIZATION

Renewed Spaces offers personalized sessions and hourly rates to suit each individual's needs and long-term goals. We take on large and small projects, including closets, kids' rooms, playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, pantries, laundries, home offices, and storage rooms (garage on a case by case basis). We will bring in assistants and contractors such as handymen and cleaners if necessary.

UNPACKING

This service is offered to individuals that are moving into a new home or have remodeled one or more space while keeping all their belongings in boxes. We will probably bring in assistants to complete this project. Please note that all boxes should be placed in the space where the belongings will be kept before the project starts. This service will get your home functioning and fairly organized but will not be a professional organizing service. If your goal is just to get settled in quickly, effectively and functionally this is the right service for you. However, we strongly recommend adding an organizing service in order to achieve an environment that is orderly prepared for the longer term.

DECLUTTERING & PURGING

Decluttering is crucial to the future maintenance of your space so we strongly recommend this service to people that have accumulated unnecessary belongings, which leads to the next phase of the process - organizing. Using our personalized process we will patiently work with you every step of the way ensuring that you feel comfortable letting go of your belongings so you can make space for what truly matters. A decluttered space helps promote mental clarity and tranquility while increasing productivity and overall well being. Moreover, decluttering will lead to a better indoor air quality by reducing dust and allergens.

REFRESH

We offer regular (quarterly recommended) refresh services to ensure that your storage systems continuously satisfy your evolving needs. This service is exclusive to spaces previously organized by us.

Frequently Asked Questions

You don't have to. We might have a few questions, but that is usually how much involvement you will have during the organization. As a matter of fact, most of our clients are at work when the magic transformation takes place. They are all busy professionals/parents that need an organizing system in place to function more productively. We always receive compliments saying that they didn't expect the process to be as stress free as it was! Having said that, you are more than welcome to be present and participate.

It depends on the service that you need. However, we strongly recommend the use of organizing products in order to implement a system which will promote long term organization. If you already have some items like containers and bins we can probably use them. We always recommend options that fit your budget, style and sustainability goals.
Some of the products we use include bins, drawer dividers, lazy susan trays, tiered can racks, cookware racks, trash bag dispensers, jars, cereal dispensers, baskets, food storage containers, hat racks, and organizers for storage bags, utensils, belts, etc.
The products will be purchased by you and/or by us upon your approval from online or physical stores, including but not limited to Amazon, Target, Homegoods, The Container Store, etc.

The time varies depending on the scope of work, size of the space, and quantity of items to be organized. Here we provide an average time for some of the spaces.
  • Closets: 10-12 hours
  • Pantries: 8-10 hours
  • Kitchens: 10-12 hours
  • Bathrooms: 8-10 hours
  • Laundry rooms: 4-6 hours
  • Home offices, playrooms, linen closets and garages: vary significantly, so a visual evaluation of the area is needed to determine the estimated project time.

Home organization is crucial for everyone's mental and physical health. It is more than what you see on the surface - an aesthetically pleasing, functional and practical space - it has a profound impact on the members of the household, even restoring relationships. A 2010 study found that women who described their living spaces as disorganized tend to have generally higher levels of the stress hormone cortisol. Studies have also shown that having your space organized will definitely boost your mood, improve your productivity, increase your focus, and help you alleviate anxiety and frustration.

All our clients are busy professionals and parents with little available time to spend helping us through the process. They want a system in place so they can function more efficiently and they usually hire us also to maintain the space longer term. There are clients in different phases of life reaching out to us because they are downsizing, renovating, buying a new home, moving their elderly parents to a different location, making a new room for their newborn, creating an office space in their home, etc.

Yes! We work with realtors that find the organizing sessions to be the perfect gift for their clients. We also tend to sell those to clients that enjoy our service so much and decide to buy for family members.

Not only someone that is experienced and knowledgeable in home organizing, but also an individual that is reliable, trustworthy, respectful, non judgemental, and an effective communicator. I always recommend clients to look at Google or Yelp reviews before they make any decisions since these reviews are usually a valuable reflection of the level of service offered.
